SSM 2024//
Strengthening Partnerships and Deep-Talk with the Minister
This year, we once again participated in the SMM trade fair. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to meet many familiar faces, as well as make valuable new connections with people across the maritime industry. We were happy to showcase our products and demonstrate how our solutions contribute to the safety on board.
Just like last time, we shared our booth with our sister company, Cassens & Plath, which allowed for a strong collaborative presence and provided a shared platform as our product range goes hand in hand.
For us, SMM 2024 was not just about showcasing products; it was a great opportunity to engage in dialogue with our international partners and identify potentials and challenges.
Staying updated on the latest developments in the maritime industry is critical to ensuring that our products meet the needs of the market and map out potential for technology and innovations within our product area.
In addition to the exchanges, we were also pleased to meet with potential new customers. Identifying new opportunities and building relationships with future clients is a top priority, and we are optimistic about the business prospects that emerged from this year’s event.
At the SMM, we also had the pleasure of welcoming Minister Claus Ruhe Madsen, Minister for Economics, Transport, Labour, Technology and Tourism in the Schleswig-Holstein state government, at our booth, accompanied by Andreas Burmester, the Maritime Coordinator of Schleswig-Holstein, and our CEO, Dr. Philipp Murmann. The meeting was both insightful and productive, focusing on key topics such as the maritime economy in Schleswig-Holstein, the growth of ZÖLLNER, and the vast potential within the maritime industry. Minister Madsen expressed strong support for the region's continued innovation and development, while highlighting the importance of hidden champions like ZÖLLNER in shaping the future of the maritime sector.
Overall, our participation in SMM 2024 has been a great experience, and we look forward to building on the successes and connections made during the fair.
