Safe at sea

We regularly report on the various vessels that are sailing the seas with our products. Whether it's used on boats for research in the Arctic or entering a beautiful fjord on a cruise ship. ZÖLLNER products travel the world. Today we would like to report on an organization that does great work every day on a voluntary basis. The "Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger (DGzRS)" translated German Maritime Search and Rescue Services. The NGO takes care of safety at sea every day, with mostly volunteers.

Every year they have around 2,000 operations on the North and Baltic Sea. The company finances itself through donations and does not receive any government grants. 55 rescue stations along the German coast are protecting people at sea since 160 years. We are therefore incredibly proud that our products are installed on many of these ships. As shown here the 28-meter sea rescue cruiser ANNELIESE KRAMER stationed in Cuxhaven which sails safely with our ZETFON 400/310.

As residents of the coastal region we, the ZÖLLNER employees in Kiel, are very connected to the DGzRS and are regularly informed about the work they do. That's why the profit from our office snack-bar goes to the DGzRS again this year.

Keep up the good work.
